Eastwood’s Mea Culpa

They call me eastwood, and have for well over a decade. It’s an internet moniker that arose from those old spaghetti western cowboy movies of the mid-1960’s. Give or take a couple of years, that’s the same era I was whelped, as well. The meaning behind the name is simply “The Man with No Name”; the loner who rides through a world where he doesn’t belong, seeking to right a few wrongs.

So why would one say they were whelped, rather than born? In my case, it’s because I recognize that I’m a dog at heart. Dogs often have some wonderful qualities - loyalty, friendliness, unconditional love - but they also happen to be animals, and often have some rather base tendencies.
